Tony Caldwell, a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel, has over 30 years of experience across military, corporate, and nonprofit sectors. He has a proven track record of leading diverse teams, from small groups to organizations of over 250 people.
Tony enlisted in 1988, before becoming a commissioned officer in 1993, serving for almost 27 years. Tony spent more than a decade at the Pentagon, leading organizational design strategies, equipping units for combat deployments, and building the Army’s initial Cyber capability teams.
Driven by a passion for helping leaders create greater impact and overcome career obstacles. Tony focuses on coaching leaders who are in the "messy middle" of their organizations. His unique perspective has earned him a reputation as the "wise elder" who can help clients find clarity and purpose.
Tony has graduated from the University of Memphis, American Military University, and the U.S. Army War College. He has been awarded the Army’s Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal (6x), the Army Commendation Medal (2x), and the Army Achievement Medal (2x).He has also earned the St. Barbara award from the Army Field Artillery Association and the Order of Mercury from the United States Signal Corps Regiment.
He is one of only a few coaches in the Charlotte area who is ICF-accredited and has coached leaders who had national impact.
